We are pleased to announce the 2025 OpenDP Interns and Visiting Fellows call for applications! Starting today, we are seeking interested individuals that are interested in contributing to and helping grow the OpenDP library and community.
OpenDP Interns are typically undergraduate, post-bacc, or graduate students but those at other stages are welcome to apply. It is preferred that interns join full time and in person for the full 10-week program (tentatively June 2nd 2025 – August 8th 2025), but there are also options for part-time, remote, and/or term-time work. Applicants will also be considered for internships in the broader Privacy Tools Project. Learn more about the OpenDP Internship Program and apply via this link or read about our past interns and their projects in the 2024 program recap blog!
OpenDP Visiting Fellows are part-time and meant for engineers or scholars in industry or academia who wish to learn about, contribute, and engage with the OpenDP software suite. This is an employer-sponsored program, meaning the participant remains fully employed at the employer for the duration of the program, while devoting at least 20% of their time to the fellowship activities. Fellows come to OpenDP with their own projects in mind where they can create an impactful solution or process to take back to their home institution and contribute to the OpenDP Community. More details about participation, timing, and how to apply can be found on the OpenDP Visiting Fellows Program webpage.

- February 1, 2025: Application deadline
- By February 28, 2025: Notifications for all applicants

We look forward to another successful OpenDP summer program and hope you will join us.
